Our Church
The Church of the Resurrection, also known as Resurrection Catholic Church, is an active community. We are blessed to be located just a couple of blocks from the Gulf of Mexico on the Florida Panhandle in an area known as the Emerald Coast with its beautiful blue-green waters. Our beautiful Church was built with an altar in the center surrounded on all sides by the congregation. The exterior walls are glass, letting nature in on all sides; beautiful greenery and blue skies are our walls. Dedicated on October 7, 2001, the design of the Church truly incorporates the modern and the ancient.
Resurrection Gardens
The seven paths that lead through Resurrection’s award-winning gardens to the main doors of the Church represent all of us coming from different paths in our lives to join together in the Eucharist. The paths join at the circular path with the Stations of the Cross and our outdoor crucifix. It is one of a kind, made in Italy and first hung in the sanctuary of Resurrection’s original Church. Day and night, people come to pray at this incredible Crucifix.
